Affiliate Disclosure
We believe in full transparency about how this site earns money.
How We Earn Revenue
1. Affiliate Links (Credit Card Applications)
Some of the credit card application links on this Site are affiliate links. When you click one and successfully apply for a credit card, we may receive a referral commission from the card issuer or affiliate network. The commission comes from the issuer — it does not add any fee or charge to you.
Affiliate links are always disclosed via the "Affiliate Disclosure" bar at the top of every page, and
specifically noted on card detail pages where the apply button is present. Affiliate apply buttons
are marked with rel="nofollow noopener sponsored" in the HTML as required by Google and
applicable regulations.
2. Indian Affiliate Networks We Work With
We may use the following Indian affiliate networks for credit card and financial product referrals:
- Cuelinks — India's largest content-to-commerce affiliate network. (cuelinks.com)
- vCommission — Performance marketing network with strong banking partnerships. (vcommission.com)
- INRDeals — Cashback and affiliate network focused on Indian e-commerce and finance.
- Direct issuer affiliate programmes — Some banks (HDFC, ICICI, Axis, SBI Card, etc.) operate their own affiliate programmes directly.
3. Amazon Associates India
CardArtha is a participant in the Amazon Associates Programme, an affiliate advertising programme designed to provide a means for sites to earn advertising fees by advertising and linking to Amazon.in. As an Amazon Associate, we earn from qualifying purchases made through Amazon links on our Site. These links are appended with our Amazon India tracking tag.
4. Google AdSense
We display advertisements via Google AdSense. Google pays us based on ad impressions or clicks. We do not control which specific ads are shown; they are served automatically by Google based on page content and your browsing history (if personalised ads are enabled in your Google settings).
Our Editorial Independence
The existence of affiliate relationships does not influence our editorial decisions. Specifically:
- We never accept payment for a positive review. Issuers cannot pay to improve their card's rating or position on this Site.
- Cards without affiliate links are reviewed identically. The HDFC Infinia Metal, for example, may not have an affiliate link available — it still receives a full, honest review.
- Our ratings are formula-driven. Ratings are based on objective criteria: annual fee, effective earn rate, redemption value, lounge access, and forex markup — not on commercial relationships.
- We publish our sources. Every review links to the MITC (Most Important Terms and Conditions) document from the issuer. You can verify every fact we publish.
How to Identify Affiliate Links
On card listing and detail pages, "Apply Now" buttons that link to an affiliate URL are clearly labelled. Cards without affiliate links display "Apply on Issuer Website" and link directly to the bank's official page. The affiliate bar at the top of every page on this Site also serves as a persistent reminder.
